Updated 31 Oct 2026

The defending champions PSG sit at the summit of the Ligue 1 table after nine rounds of the 2026/27 season, collecting 20 points from six wins and two draws. Lille trail closely behind in second place with 18 points, maintaining a narrow two-point gap to the leaders following five victories and three draws. Stade Rennais occupy third position on 16 points, while Monaco sit fourth with 15 points from eight matches played. Completing the top five, Olympique Lyon have gathered 14 points from their opening eight fixtures of the current term.

At the other end of the standings, Le Havre anchor the 18-team league in 18th place with just two points and a goal difference of minus 11 from nine games. Troyes sit directly above them in 17th position with five points, while Strasbourg occupy 16th place with seven points. Strasbourg currently hold the final position outside the automatic relegation places, level on seven points with 15th-placed Le Mans, who have played one game fewer than the bottom two clubs.

PSG boast the strongest recent form in the division with five consecutive victories, alongside the longest active unbeaten run of six matches. Nice have also shown strong performances by winning four of their last five outings to accumulate 12 points. Conversely, Le Havre are mired in a nine-game winless sequence and suffered five straight defeats, matching Strasbourg's run of four losses and a draw in their latest fixtures. PSG lead the league in attack with 21 goals scored at an average of 2.3 per game, while Lille possess the tightest defence after conceding only six times. Across the 75 matches played so far, the league averages 3.0 goals per game, with home teams winning 45 percent of fixtures compared to 29 percent for away sides. The latest round featured a decisive result as PSG defeated Le Havre 5-1 away from home.

The upcoming round of fixtures brings several important meetings across the table starting on October 31.
