Paris FC 3 - 0 OGC Nice — Highlights & Result

Recent meetings between these clubs had been tightly contested affairs, highlighted by a narrow home victory for Paris FC earlier this year. That slender margin gave way to a much more emphatic outcome on August 30, 2026, as Paris FC swept aside their opponents three goals to nil on matchday two of Ligue 1.

The home side arrived following mixed recent form that included a memorable win against PSG, while the visitors stepped onto the pitch searching for a spark after dragging a winless streak across nine matches in all competitions. Both teams had finished in the lower half of the table last season—Paris FC placing 11th with 44 points and Nice finishing 16th with 32 points—and each had started the new term with a single point from their opening fixture.

This commanding victory completely transforms the early league standings. Paris FC vaults all the way from 13th place into the outright lead of the 18-team division on four points. Meanwhile, the afternoon deals a heavy blow to the visitors, causing them to slide down the table to 17th position.

Looking ahead to the upcoming fixture list, Paris FC will hit the road to face Marseille on September 6. Nice return to their home ground a day earlier on September 5 to host Le Mans, sitting three points behind the early league leaders.
