Deportivo Alavés 1 - 1 Málaga CF — Highlights & Result

Table leaders Barça now sit twenty-seven points clear at the summit of the Primera Division, leaving Deportivo Alavés fifteen points adrift and Málaga CF twenty-two points back after a 1-1 draw on matchday 10. Alavés controlled sixty-three percent of the possession and registered eighteen shots to Málaga's seven, but found themselves behind when Ramón Enríquez set up Adrián Niño for a 44th-minute strike. Málaga looked poised to claim a rare away victory, carrying a poor road record into the late stages, yet Aitor Mañas rescued a point for the hosts with an 89th-minute equalizer.

Alavés entered the fixture following a difficult run that yielded five losses in their last six outings across all competitions, interrupting a start that had produced three home wins earlier in the season. Málaga arrived mired in a nine-match winless streak across all competitions, searching for their first victory of the league season after collecting four draws and five defeats from their opening nine fixtures. The visitors struggled away from home previously, managing just one goal on their travels before this match, while Alavés finished 14th in the competition last season with 43 points.

The individual performances reflected the tense nature of the contest, with standout ratings awarded to the game's decisive figures. Málaga's Adrián Niño Heredia earned an 8.1 rating for his opening goal, while Alavés hero Aitor Mañas received the highest mark on the pitch with an 8.2 rating following his late intervention. Toni Martínez also posted a strong 7.4 rating for the home side, and Ramón Enríquez picked up a 7.3 rating for his creative contribution in the first half.

Both clubs return to action on October 31 for their next assignments. Alavés travel to face Barça away, while Málaga take on Real Betis away.
